Hi bhnywolk, thanks for your comment. We try carefully to achieve a good balance between the free and paid features.
We need to cover our costs and develop the site, but want to keep the community feel and realise that many people can't afford to upgrade.
The upgrades are helping to pay for improvements across the whole site, and we've recently introduced HD video playback for both free and premium content.
The site has grown considerably which means there's now more free content than ever and we'll continue to develop the free features as an integral part of the website.
